Where we are and where we are going
This is the monthly report for December, 2020. As we ramp down from our push to release the First Playable and concentrate on our stability and longevity as a technical organization, we’ve been making lots of little improvements.
Progress has been slow because of a lot of absences due to holidays, travel and one newborn (congratulations Jon!). Even still we have been able to close out 6 of the 39 issues we committed to. We have until January 15th to get as much of the rest of them done before we switch over to a new milestone. That said, we’re very pleased with the improvements we’ve made so far and it looks like Yellow Alert Milestones will continue to be planned in the future.
That’s right! Mythic Table is going to launch a Kickstarter campaign. We’re in the middle of planning it with the Open Gaming Network right now and we’ve made some very promising progress. Our original estimates on features and scope have been much shorter than we expected and we feel that the goals we’re setting are very realistic. We still have a lot of work to do, but we hope to launch the campaign by the end of January.
As promised, we’ve changed our bookkeeping and reporting system around our financials. We are pleased to be able to continue our tradition of reporting our numbers to you and with help from a new CPM joining Mythic Table we’ve come up with a strategy.
We will continue to release unofficial monthly reports that will show our yearly progress. In addition to this we will be preparing our annual reports. These reports will come out in February. The delay is to allow for a reconciliation period. Mythic Table books are rather simple so we don’t need much time to do this, but we want to make sure we have the leeway if needed.

For January, we’re going to finish up the Yellow Alert Milestone, launch the Kickstarter campaign, hopefully find time to do our Extra Life game and prepare our next milestone.
As always, please continue to share our story and help us build a great roleplaying tool we can all be proud of.
Thank you so much for your faith in us and we wish you all a happy 2021!!!
