Where we are and where we are going
This monthly report celebrates our successes and failures for the month of October, 2020.
We released the First Playable to our Discord and Patreon communities and the results were great. We saw over 450 unique visitors. Some people actually transitioned their games over to Mythic Table despite the lack of features. We could not be happier with this outcome.
We created a plan to prepare us for our global announcement. This plan involved a number of initiatives to help organize our remaining work. We had a lot of success in some areas but struggled in others. This delayed our announcement. Our initiative to solve how to announce without a huge marketing and advertising budget turned out to be a lot of work. We are still working on it.
We’ve also had a number of absences from the team. This is expected at Mythic Table as everyone here is a volunteer and 2020 has not been a kind year for many. Our hearts go out to everyone that’s struggling in these difficult times.
Finally, I wanted to thank all those that pitched in to help us get this far. I am truly humbled by the hard work, passion and skill of our development team. This project has gone far beyond what I could manage on my own. I also want to thank our amazing community that has been supporting us this entire time. I love their patience and how they are jumping in to help out where they can. This First Playable is for all of you. I hope you like it and I hope you see our potential.

A few of the more interesting accomplishments:
We are still a couple of tiny steps away from making our global announcement. It is very important that we reach as many people as possible with our message. So we are working hard to make sure everything is ready. If you’re interested in helping out in any way, please let us know.
Once the announcement has been made, our team is going to take a small step back from feature development and focus on quality. We’ll be doing nothing but Bug Fixes and Improvement Projects for the next month or so while our communications team works on spreading the word and collecting feedback.
If you want to help, the best way to do that now is to tell your friends about Mythic Table and help us spread the word. We’re very excited to be so close to being able to make this project a sustainable reality, but we’re not there yet.
Thanks again for all your patience and support!
